The Gospel of God is the story of His extravagent mercy toward His enemies. Human sin and unbelief is a very personal offense against His righteousness and faithfulness. Yet God extends forgiveness through the death and resurrection of His own Son, Jesus Christ.
Reading the Bible is as close as we can get to reading God's mind. His thoughts, plans and purposes are revealed there. This Truth is accessible to anyone who can read it. A person who is Bible-literate has mastered the skills that are necessary to read the Bible with understanding.
Everyone who comes to a saving faith in Jesus Christ becomes part of a community called the Church. The Church is not a place with four walls and a steeple. It is a people who praise and worship, learn and grow, struggle and endure hardships~ together.
